In Floratic you play as a little drone that has been tasked with restoring the flora in an underground laboratory. Explore a different variety of vibrant flowers, fruits and underwater-plants and upgrade your laboratory to complete you task efficiently.

Unlock new crops at the research center and buy them at the vendinge machine afterwards.  The plants will grow automatically in their designated auto-flowering-pots. Harvest them to gain research points and money.

Watch out though! Even if the plants grow by themselves, the pots and the drone are using up energy rapidly! If you don't watch you energy-gauge you might not be able to finish your task. Luckily some of the blue plants grant you electric charge to keep you running.

that was the best couple of hours i've spent on this site so far! it was super easy and laid back and i was able to complete it on my second attempt! the sprites of the flora were also so fun to look at. i liked waiting to see what the seeds would turn into. it was great!

The metadata says it is under MIT. Where can I find the code?

I think maybe you and me have different ideas of what "laid back" means

The game is really cool and the designs are well done. I would love it if the game was a little longer or another game like continuation.

The game is nice and I like it 8/10

please add a low power warning the bar is too small

I loved this!!! I am very much a Botany nerd, so seeing these fake plants grow in semi-realistic ways was what did it for me. 9/10, I wish you could go for as long as you wanted :)

oh my god you're so right, I should've added a score-attack/highscore game mode to this... I guess now it's too late since I made this wayyy to long ago and don't wanna touch that project file again.

fun fact: when I made this I was learning how to code and didn't use a single loop. the whole game is pretty much if-statements.

I started crying when I read this.

Damn, that was weirdly satisfying

It took me so many tries!

Wow that was really fun!! It has the look and feel of a game I'd buy on Steam! The only suggestion I'd give is to have a quit button, when I won I had trouble quitting haha. But I encourage you to keep on with game dev! I think you have great potential :)

this is cute but there's literally no explanation for how to play... I keep dying... It says you can grow plants to regain energy but nothing happens- I keep losing energy?

(+1)

it's the blue plants you gotta harvest for energy ;)

This game is super cute!I enjoyed the process of growing different plants. Thanks for the game!

this was really fun! i love the visuals, its all so pixally and thematic, and the gameplay was really great too. at the very beginning its a race against the clock but after a bit you really get into the groove of it. those extra battery bars were a lifesaver! overall a genuinely really great game thats fun to play and lovely to look at!

I love plants~

Neat little game with an interesting concept which has great visual charm. Each of the plants have some great pixel art attached to them and like most plants game is satisfying to watch grow. Only real problem I have is that it moves a little to fast to enjoy everything about it. Still though, a fun little play.

As someone who occasionally plays Starbound just to grow alien plants, I really enjoyed this. It took me a second to figure out the controller keymapping and adding a note about blue plants = energy in-game would be useful, but this is a great small farming simulator with good pacing. Thank you for sharing this.

This was a good time, I totally recommend for a calming and short indie. Controller support fits it nicely and works well. I played on Windows and downloaded it

it looks amazing but i cant download it- "Failed - Forbidden"

i'm gonna try again later but if anyone knows what to do please lmk :P

I think the web version is broken :[ using enter doesn't work!

(+1)

yeah the game really isn't optimized for browser play. however i wanted to enable it so people can play without downloading...

this was soo cute, absolutely loved it <3
the gameplay loop was simple yet very polised and the audio was just top notch, could listen to this all day ^^ great job!

Hey, pretty good game, I really enjoyed, congratulations!

This game is the first one I've ever made. All the coding, art and soundtrack are made by me. I am music producer and wanted to try out something new :) I'd love to hear your opinions and feedback, so I can get better and make better games in the future.

If you're looking for sounddesigner/composer/pixel-artist/concept-artist/visual-director, hit me up! I'm always down for new people and projects and I'd love to learn more about the game-dev world.
